Delivery Information
UnderDeck Shipping and Receiving Information
I've Ordered! So What's Next?
- Your order is processed the business day after it is received. During this stage we authorize your credit card and ensure that we
have complete shipping information. If there are any issues, we will attempt to contact you via phone and/or e-mail.
- Your order is then packaged and prepped for shipping. This stage typically takes 2-4 business days.
- Once your order has been packaged, it is sent on it's way. Delivery of orders takes up to 4 business days. The closer you are to
the midwest, the faster you will receive your order.
- FedEx Freight will contact you shortly after it receives your order to arrange for a delivery appointment. You must be present
or have someone present to accept and unload your order. FedEx Freight is unable to deliver without someone to accept and inspect the delivery. Once you have
scheduled your delivery with FedEx, please be prepared. If you refuse delivery because you are unable to unload the delivery and need to re-schedule, you will be
charged a fee for the 2nd delivery attempt.
Receiving Your Order
Receiving your UnderDeck is simple. While 98%+ of all UnderDeck orders have no delivery issues, it is important to understand the process before you receive your
order so you can take appropriate action if it is needed.
When you receiver your order, please take the following steps:
- Please open all boxes and inspect them carefully. Pay particular attention to the joist and boundary gutters (these are the 10ft+
sections).
- If there is minor damage (this is very rare), you should accept the shipment and make note of the damage on the delivery
manifest. Ask your driver to date and initial where you noted the damage.
- If there is major damage to the shipment (this is extremely rare), you do have the option of rejecting the shipment. If you reject
the shipment, the shipment will be returned and a new shipment will be sent out to you. Please note that rejecting the shipment does not cancel your order in any
way and it may take an additional 1-2 weeks to get you a replacement shipment. Please be sure to note the damage on the delivery manifest.
- Noting any and all damage on the delivery manifest is extremely important. If the damage is not noted,
we will not be able to get you replacement components and delivery free of charge.
- If you do have damage, please contact us immediately at 888-349-4660 to notify us and we will get replacement parts out to you ASAP.

Delivery to Canada
Delivery to Hawaii and Alaska
- We also offer delivery to Hawaii and Alaska. Shipping rates are typically 3-4 times our standard rates. If you are interested in a quote, please
contact us via e-mail with your name, phone number, delivery address and the size of your deck and joist spacing. We will e-mail you back a freight quote. Delivery
time is typically 10 business days.
- If you are interested in ordering after receiving the quote, please contact us for further information. We will need to take
your order via the phone as our website currently does not handle UnderDeck orders for Hawaii and Alaska.

If you live in a remote outlying area (e.g., such as an island that requires ferry service) or an area that requires an abnormal length
of time for delivery, you may be charged extra freight. Our checkout system is unable to detect these remote areas and is not able to adjust the shipping price
at checkout. If you suspect that you are in a remote area (you probably already know if this is the case), please call us in advance so that we can provide you
with a shipping quote.
This is not a common occurence. 99% of the orders that we ship do NOT have an extra charge and unless you live in an area described above, you don't need to
be concerned with this.
Unless your order is shipped to WI, you will not pay sales tax on the UnderDeck or freight.
Special Order Product
UnderDeck is a special order product. As such, returns are not allowed.
