Why are Screw Products star drive screws better than square, Phillips, and quadrex drives currently on the market?

Star drive screws offer twice the torque of Phillips or square drive, virtually eliminating any spin-out. Additionally, there is essentially no end load (pushing) needed to drive Screw Products screws, and they can be reused multiple times if needed.

What applications require stainless steel screws?

Stainless steel screws should be used where the eventual corrosion of plated or coated products could become a problem. Screw Products stainless steel screws offer a "very high" corrosion protection and are ideal for outdoor coastal areas within one mile of saltwater, shipyards, areas near swimming pools, ground contact treated lumber, medium polluted industrial areas, chemical plants, etc. In many cases, it is better to select the higher-quality stainless steel screws to avoid staining, rusting, and black streaks that may occur from non-stainless steel screws.
