1. Contest Description and Sponsor: The Review Rewards Contest ("Contest") is a monthly contest that begins on the first day of each month and ends on the last day of each month. Each month is a new “Promotion Period.” The sponsor of this Contest is DIY Home Center, LLC ("Sponsor"). DIY reserves the right to end the Contest at any time without notice. Additionally, if no product reviews are submitted in any given month, Sponsor is not obligated to award a Prize for that particular month.
2. Eligibility: This Contest is open to legal residents of the United States (except where limited below) who are at least 18 years of age (“Entrant”). Sponsor and its parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, and employees (the "Promotion Entities"), are ineligible to enter the Contest or win a Prize. Household members and immediate family members of such individuals are also not eligible to enter or win. This Contest is not valid in the following states (and Entries from any Entrants that reside in the following states will not be considered, judged, or deemed eligible to win the Prize): Colorado, Maryland, Nebraska, North Dakota, Vermont, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Tennessee. The Prize will not be delivered to addresses within these states. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
3. Prizes: Each month, one $100 Visa gift card will be awarded to the Entrant chosen by the Sponsor pursuant to the judging criteria set forth below (the “Winner”). Only one Prize per person and per household will be awarded per month. Once a Winner has been chosen to receive the Prize, that Winner (and his/her/their household) is not eligible to win another Prize for the following twelve (12) month period. Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or substituted by Winner. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value if a prize described in these Official Rules is unavailable or cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, for any reason. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen Prizes. All federal, state, and/or local taxes, fees, and surcharges are the sole responsibility of each Winner. Failure to comply with the Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the prize.
4. How to Enter: Every person that uploads an original review of a product purchased in the last twelve (12) months from www.diyhomecenter.com will be automatically entered into the Contest for the Promotion Period in which such review was uploaded. After you purchase a product from www.diyhomecenter.com, you will receive an email requesting you to review the product you purchased. Upon submitting a review, you will be automatically entered into the Contest.
5. Judging Criteria: Each Entrant’s submission will be judged by the marketing staff of DIY Home Center, and the marketing staff shall select a Winner for each applicable Promotion Period. Judging will be based on several factors, including but not limited to clarity and quality of the submission, as well as the effectiveness of any photo or video included that showcases the product purchased from www.diyhomecenter.com.
6. Winner Notification: Each monthly Winner will be notified by email at the email address used by the Entrant in the product purchase. Notification will be provided by Sponsor on or about the 10th day of the month after the expiration of each Promotion Period. Potential Winner must accept the Prize via return email as directed by Sponsor within ten (10) days of the date of the original winning notification email. Sponsor is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive email account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or Winner’s failure to adequately monitor any email account. Any Winner notification not responded to within the time frame set forth in these Official Rules or returned as undeliverable, may result in prize forfeiture. Upon Winner’s acknowledgment of Sponsor’s email (as directed in Sponsor’s email), Sponsor will deliver the Prize to Winner electronically or via USPS, at Sponsor’s discretion.
7. Odds. The odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible Entries received, according to the eligibility requirements.
8. General Terms. By uploading a review as specified herein, each Entrant (a) promises to abide by the Official Rules and decisions of the Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all respects, and (b) represents and warrants that the Entrant controls all rights in and to the submitted review and any photographs or videos contained therein and has the right to grant the license specified below and that any identifiable person in the review/submission has consented to the use and disclosure of the image for the purposes set forth in these Official Rules. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, disqualify or withdraw any Entry at any time. The Sponsor will not be responsible for any injury, damage, or loss of any kind arising out of Entrant’s participation in the Contest. Entrant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, officers, directors, agents, and assigns from and against any or all claims, losses, injuries, or damages resulting from participation in the Contest. Except where prohibited by law, by accepting any Prize in this Contest, the Entrant grants to the Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, transferable, royalty-free license to use, publish, reproduce, distribute, and create distributive works from the Entrant’s Entry, name, photograph, video, submission, writing, comments, voice and/or likeness without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind for advertising, promotion and/or other publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world.
9. Winners’ Names. The names of the winners are available within twenty (20) days after the close of each Promotion Period of the Contest. To receive the names of the winners, where permitted by law, or printed copy of the Contest Official Rules, please contact the Sponsor by email at support@diyhomecenter.com.
