For the 36" final rail height - The (14) pickets are 30.5" each and will accommodate a 6' rail section. With the top and bottom rail it takes it up to 36". The package includes (30) 4" aluminum spacers.
For the 42" final rail height - The pickets are 36.5" each and with the top and bottom rail it takes it up to 42". The 6' section includes (14) pickets and (30) aluminum 4" spacers and the 8' section includes (19) pickets and (40) aluminum 4" spacers.
For the stairs - Pickets are 29.5" in height, and with the top and bottom rail, it becomes a comfortable 36". This package includes (12) pickets and (26) aluminum 5" spacers and will accommodate a 6' rail section.

The Regal Aluminum 3/4" Pickets for Deck has a patented Lock-in Picket System allows the pickets to be quickly installed without the use of bottom rail supports and fasteners to the Regal Aluminum Rail System. The balusters are premium UV powder coated to allow for maximum durability in all types of climated and will not rust, fade, chip, or crack. The 29.5" pickets are used for the stairs for both the 36" and 42" final rail height. For horizontal applications and a 36" final rail height is desired, use the 30.5" pickets.
