GuardDog has a versatile head style that be used with a PoziSquare Drive, #2 square drive or #2 Phillips drive. It is guaranteed corrosion resistance, plus color matched to blend in with pressure treated decking. Enjoy easy installation with sharp threads that quickly penetrate lumber. A free PoziSquare driver bit is included. The GuardDog coating has been tested and approved for use in ACQ, Copper Azole PT, Redwood and Cedar applications. This fastener is guaranteed to protect against rust for the life of the project.
Installation allows you to use a 0-1800 RPM variable speed drill (at least 14.4V if cordless). Use the PoziSquare driver bits provided and install fasteners perpendicular to the deck. Increase drill speed as the screw threads into the deck. Slightly countersink and do not overdrive. If cam-out occurs, be sure to remove and replace the screw.
