Deckorators Newport High Pyramid Post Cap is a great option for adding that finishing touch to any wood post or railing. Not only does it enhance the look of the wood post, but it's also functional in that it protects the wood post top from the elements. Made of high-quality cedar or pressure-treated pine, this cap fits over the top of a nominal 4x4 (3-1/2" x 3-1/2"), 4x6 (3-1/2" x 5-1/2"), or 6x6 (5-1/2" x 5-1/2") wood post. It is recommended to coat all areas (including the underside) of the cap prior to installation with a high-quality exterior finish to preserve the wood's natural beauty and ensure a lifetime of enjoyment.
