How long does DuraFlash last (life expectancy)?

How will DuraFlash react to exposure to the sun?
DuraFlash is treated with a UV inhibitor that makes it resistant to fading and cracking in the sun.
How should I cut DuraFlash?
Cut DuraFlash with tin snips, metal/tin scissors or knife of any sort. The roll stock can be cut with a paper cutter for consistent straight edges and for quick repetitions.
How can I bend DuraFlash?
Bend the DuraFlash on a sheet metal break, with your hands or with traditional sheet metal forming tools just as you would Aluminum sheet material.
Why use vinyl flashing instead of aluminum flashing?
Vinyl flashing is resistant to the chemicals currently used in pressure treated lumber. Aluminum flashing will corrode when placed in contact with concrete and concrete products including fiber-cement siding.
Vinyl flashing is easier to cut and bend, and it will not cut your hands while working with it like Aluminum will. Vinyl flashing will not dent like aluminum flashing will. Some examples of this are when someone steps on a piece of aluminum J Channel on the construction site or a roll of aluminum being dented in the back of a truck.
Why use vinyl flashing with ACQ treated lumber?
Vinyl flashing will not corrode and or deteriorate. Aluminum will be destroyed by ACQ Pressure treated lumber. Pressure treated lumber contains high concentrations of copper. This copper causes dissimilar metal corrosion. When you use aluminum flashing with these chemicals, you get product failures such as structural failure and moisture damage.
What applications does vinyl flashing work with?
Any application that needs to be flashed to prevent water from entering the building envelope and causing damage. Such as: flashing at the ledger board of decks, bottom of siding, fascia, soffits, doors, wrapping pressure treated wood post and gutter boards.
How long has vinyl flashing been on the market?
