FastenMaster FrameFAST Fasteners are part of FastenMaster's FrameFAST Structural Framing System. The 6"-long fully-threaded fastener replaces framing clips, straps, and ties. They are corrosion-resistant and provide superior uplift and lateral resistance. Each box includes 200 screws and one 6" TP25 TORX Plus drive bit for use with the FrameFAST installation tool (sold separately).

The FrameFAST fastener is designed to be installed with the head either sunk flush with the wall framing or left up to 1/4" proud to allow for easier inspection when needed. To ensure a consistent and accurate fastener depth, ensure that the head of the FrameFAST tool is held flush to the top plate during installation. To adjust the tool for leaving the fastener head proud, simply reposition the spacer tab from the tool handle to the bottom of the hexagonal shaft.

The FrameFAST Structural Framing System utilizes one tool, one screw, and three interchangeable heads to provide a code-compliant replacement to standard hurricane ties, clips, and straps. Structural connections are completed with precise fastener location, accurate installation angle, and optimized thread engagement.
