Deckorators Post Cap Adhesive

Post Caps

Deckorators recommends using an exterior-grade construction adhesive to adhere the cap to the post. Apply the adhesive liberally to the inside of the cap, and then place the cap firmly over the top of the post.


Deckorators Solar Post Cap

Solar Post Caps

To activate your new solar post cap:

  1. Remove top by pressing inward on the side of the clear lens, grasping the edge of the top and lifting it off.
  2. Install batteries.
  3. Replace top by snapping onto side panels. Make sure the holes in the sides are matched up with the stubs on the top.
  4. Place your solar post cap in direct sunlight for 24-48 hours to fully charge. Your solar post cap light is now ready to be installed onto your post.

To activate Aluminum solar post cap:

  1. Unscrew top and remove from the glass portion of the cap.
  2. Install rechargeable batteries.
  3. Replace top and fasten screws.
  4. Place your solar cap in direct sunlight for 24 to 48 hours to fully charge.
  5. The cap is ready to be installed on the post.

Solarband Post Caps

To install Solarband post caps:

  1. Remove top by grasping the edges of the top and lifting straight up.
  2. Install rechargable batteries.
  3. Replace top by snapping onto the banded lens.
  4. Ensure the U-shaped slots in the sides of the banded lens are matched up with the stubs on the top.
  5. Place your solar post cap in direct sunlight for 24 to 48 hours to fully charge.
  6. Your solar post cap is now ready to be installed onto your post.
