Care and Cleaning
How should the aluminum railing be cleaned?
Use a mild household detergent and water mixture to clean the aluminum then rinse with clean water.
How should the glass balusters be cleaned?
Use a mild household detergent and water mixture to clean the glass balusters then rinse with clean water. If desired, the use of a glass treatment will help repel water and reduce water spots.
Installation and Warranty
How far apart can the posts be spaced?
Posts can be spaced a maximum of 6’ on-center.
Do I need special tools to install the railing?
Conventional tools can be used for cutting, drilling and fastening. For your safety, remember to wear protective clothing and safety glasses.
What can I use to cut the railing?
We recommend using a sharp, carbide-tipped, multipurpose saw blade.
How do the posts attach to the deck?
The posts are surface-mounted to the decking understructure with lag screws. At locations that don’t have structural framing below to attach to, additional blocking is installed and the post mounting hardware kit (included in post kit) is used to install the post. For more information, refer to the Installation section.
Does the railing system accommodate angles?
We offer connectors to handle all of the angles you would typically encounter, including 180°, 90°, 45° and 22.5°. For more information, refer to the Installation section.
Can the railing system be installed on concrete?
Th railing can be installed on concrete. There may be additional items required for installation such as a hammer drill, masonry bits and concrete anchors.
Can the railing be installed with clear plastic sheets instead of glass?
We do not recommend using plastic as it scratches easily and tends to yellow over time.
Does Deck Images E2A railing come with a warranty?
Yes. Deck Images E2A railing is covered by a 15-year limited powder-coat warranty, which warrants the finish against visible checks, cracks, showing chalking and color change.

What kind of railing systems does Deck Images E2A offer?
Deck Images E2A railing includes aluminum railings with several baluster options. Aluminum balusters come in round and rectangular styles. Clear glass balusters are also available for an unobstructed view.
What are the railings made of?
Rail kits and metal baluster kits are made from low-maintenance aluminum which is powder coated for durability. The glass balusters are made of 5/16” tempered safety glass.
What size are the balusters?
The round aluminum balusters are 3/4” outside diameter. The rectangular aluminum balusters are 1/2” x 3/4”. The glass balusters are 5/16” thick by 6” wide.
What colors are available?
The round aluminum balusters are 3/4” outside diameter. The rectangular aluminum balusters are 1/2” x 3/4”. The glass balusters are 5/16” thick by 6” wide
What height is the railing?
The railing is approximately 36"
Are stair railings available?
Standard Rail Kits are used for stair railings. Baluster kits with stair rail inserts are used to build stair rails from 32 to 37 degrees.
Are gates available?
We offer gates to match our aluminum and glass railings. Our gates come in knockdown kits with standard hinges and a latch, and require assembly
