Step 1 - Draw & Measure
Don't worry, this will be very straighforward and not take more than a few minutes. We'll even do it along with you with an example deck (not drawn completely
to scale).
To Complete this Step:
- Use a plain piece of paper or our project
planner (PDF) and draw a "plan view" (or top-down view) of your deck.
- Take the meaurements of all edges and write them on the drawing (similar to what's shown below in the example deck).
- If not obvious, also write down the angle of any corners.
- Reference the example deck for help
A Few Tips to Consider
- Deck Images E2A Deck Railing is designed to work with decks that have 22.5°, 45° and 90° angles (in our example, they are all 45° or 90°).
-
The E2A Deck Stair Railings are designed to work ideally with decks with a 35° stair installation, but will work with stair angles from 31° to 39°,
with some modification.
